Milling Equipment for the Glass & Ceramics Industry

In the case of glass manufacturing, Bradley mills are commonly used to pulverize waste glass cullet down to powder for re-use in silica glass manufacturing.  Our mills are also used to grind borate materials for production of borosilicate glass and fiberglass.

In the ceramics industry, Bradley mills are ideal for grinding several of the materials used as ingredients for ceramics manufacturing such as Kaolin, Chamote, and Magnesite.  This also includes the pulverization of marble itself to the fine powder required for making facing that goes on finished marble tiles.

Environmental Benefits – The glass and ceramics industries rely heavily on the ability to use recycled waste materials in their manufacturing processes. Bradley mills play a prominent role in the first step in most recycling processes - grinding the waste product down to a size small enough to allow for proper re-processing on its journey to becoming a new product.
Application: Glass and Ceramics Industries glass
Material Application Outcomes Bradley Equipment
